How we work
The rules every story on RainyNews follows.
Facts first
Every story is based on at least one published report. Our own reports list their sources underneath.
Newest first
RainyNews carries every subject. Every list on the site puts the newest story first; the Newsflash page shows everything in the order it arrived.
Names on stories
Reports by our reporters carry their name and are checked by the editor before they go online. Short items in the Newsflash are not signed.
Nobody pays for coverage
- No adverts.
- No sponsored stories or advertorials.
- No affiliate links.
- No press releases dressed up as news.
- No payment, gifts or favours accepted for coverage.
Mistakes
We fix errors as soon as we know about them; an updated report shows the date of the update.
